The project for creating the Midparc industrial free zone originated with Medz and the three industrial companies ARSCO, CENAL and MASPIN, which had established themselves successfully in Morocco for working in aeronautics and electronics fields.

The project was covered by a convention signed at the second industrial conference held on May 5, 2011 in the presence of His Majesty the King of Morocco. It was signed by the Minister of the Interior, Mr. Taïeb CHERKAOUI, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Salaheddine MEZOUAR, the Minister for Industry, Trade and New Technologies, Mr. Ahmed Reda CHAMI, Medz and the Midparc Company.

  1. MEDZ

Medz is a subsidiary of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion (CDG), a financial institution created in the form of a state company. Over the years, the CDG has become a group, a major player in the national economy and an authority on public development policies.

In this capacity, Medz’ objectives are to design, set up, develop and manage areas of strategic activity for Morocco. This role has resulted in it becoming public authorities’ privileged partner for implementing sector-based policies in the different regions of Morocco.

Medz participates in building the Midparc integrated industrial area by handling the general design of the zone, installing general facilities and offering all its experience as an administrator and a developer.

These companies have solid international experience in the aeronautics, defense and space industries as well as in the problems encountered when setting up new installations.

This consortium of industrialists acts as the zone’s designer, promoter, developer and administrator.
